Testimony #7 Good Times Conquerors don't give up when they lose ground. They march forward with confidence knowing that they will claim victory. The Bible says we don't have to worry-we are over comers in Christ! " And looking at them Jesus said to them, with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible; Matt 19:26 when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Acts 2:1-2; The Father in Heaven had just laid the foundation of the new covenant, fulfilled by our Lord Jesus Christ. With the purpose of changing the world for so who ever believed in Him. The good times that followed, so then those who had received his word were baptized; and on that day there were added about three thousand souls. They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:41-43 as they celebrated each moment of each day, In God's glory! They began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need Acts 2:45... for a time the apostles had many set backs but they pressed forward towards God's promise-Jesus, said the Father would said the comforter the Holy Spirit, the dedication to be part of something of such importance, to become trail blazers for future generations to follow. Mavericks in Christ, moving mountains in their day in order that we today may receive the same blessings as the first believers in Christ. As we reflect on God's word and read of the many signs and wonders that took place, one could just simply give thanksgiving and praise. Conquerors of today! That have had the same confidence knowing that they would have the same victory! Gives us a better understanding of the commitment of the "Man Behind the Shield" the foundation set by Al Davis at the age of 33-years old, along with his coaching staff in 1963 guiding the worst team in football into over night winners, gave Al Davis the confidence to set the stage for football's emerges as America's past-time, The will to improve the game when Al Davis, became commissioner of the AFL at 36 years of age and was acclaimed nationally as the driving force who brought on the historic merger between the NFL and AFL. It was a time when Legends where born! He played a vital role in the development of the game as a participant in the prestigious NFL competition committee and the NFL owner executive committee... The sense of awe that this country experienced during those days brought the game to what it is today. As the team prepares for the 2007-football season, Let's thank the Lord for this awesome country! With it's great game of Football! In Christ we have the foundation of life. That by faith into grace where justified. Along with the partakers, that brought us the first revival on the day of Pentecost. Revival is simply God's way of getting our attention to give us every opportunity to follow Him. It's coming around the corner again! Don't hesitate this could be the last powerful movement of the Holy Spirit? Almighty God is about to move mountains for the Raider Nation; the desire and the will that God put in Al's heart was just like the blueprint he laid out for the first disciples. To bring the masses together? The sense of awe and all were together and had all things in common, it sure sounds like the source of Raider Love...
Prayer for this week: God; I thank you for the revival that is coming. I give praise to your name, as you seek my heart to follow you 100% in order to experience your awe ness, as you move mountains to reach my fellow Raider brothers and sisters, may signs and wonders follow your glory upon the Nation.
