"Just Win Baby!"

We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ; 2Cor 10:5

The Bible teaches us to capture every thought and to bring it into captivity It's important to carefully select the positive and negative thought's. Every player in Christ-experiences set backs and challenges, but the fact that God almighty is on your side means that nothing on earth can hold you down. God has guaranteed victory for those who live right in His name. The Bible warns us about the opponents game plan, and instructs us how to defend our self's to be diligent in thought. The warnings are there! 2Cor 2:11 so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not to be ignorant of his schemes. James 4:7 submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 2Cor 11:14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. The Lord himself called him the Father of lies! The battleground for the believer in Jesus Christ starts with our thought pattern, God's blueprint for triumph is by his word, fellowship and prayer? It simply translates into praise! His power is available everyday to help us win not only the big battles, but the little daily encounters with the enemy as well. As we read about God's supernatural ways we can see the glory of His hand! In the book of Joshua 6:2 He says to Joshua…Let's stop here for a moment, He spoke to Joshua? It's very important for us to recognize, and have acknowledgement on how the Lord communicates with us. We as Christians sometimes put ourselves in a box? By not completely making the effort to understand how the Lord moves in our lives, He can come like a quiet whisper or He can be stern? Some of us have not been listing to the Lord on the other hand some have been. He will speak to us in thought, dreams, visions many of us have heard the inner voice or an outward voice the Holy Spirit tugs at our hearts and minds, some of you out there have had expericances with angels?  "Wild stuff! Okay back to Joshua, The conquest of Jericho was his calling at this specific time in his life. God's instructions where rather peculiar? In the natural state of mind, But here's your instructions. You shall march around the city, all the men of war circling the city once. You shall do so for six days. Also the priests shall carry seven trumpets of rams of horns before the ark; then on the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets, Joshua 6:3-4... In verse (20) the people shouted and the walls fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, and every man marched straight ahead, and they took the city.

Here's the cool thing we can set back today and look at God's game plan of communicating with us by reading the Bible. In Joshua's case we can read God spoke and he heard his voice and brought that thought captive and believed God! As we reflect on God's instructions for the believer, the Holy Bible gives us so many examples and instructions to follow, that we can see the resembles in the sports world today. The Holy Spirit constantly shares illustration today to get the message across to believers of His pattern of deliverance in defending against the opponent?

Here's a good example, the Holy Spirit brought to remembrance the Super Bowl of 1983-84, on how the Raiders led by Al Davis and the awesome team that was assembled during that era invaded Tampa Bay, Florida that year with all the Raider tradition along with it's veterans and fans on hand to root the 1983 edition of the Silver and Black along with the organization buying up all the billboard space painting the town Silver and Black! The memory that stands above all had to be the call on "Defense! With 12-secounds left in the half, the Raiders where on the prowl and alert. In October in a league game against the Redskins a screen pass to halfback Joe Washington, out of a three wide receiver formation had triggered a winning drive for the Redskins, when that same scenario was being played out by head coach Joe Gibbs in the Super Bowl, The Raider coaching staff reacted by instinct by remembering the experience of defeat during the regular season. Defensive coordinator Charley Summer countered immediately by inserting speedy linebacker Jack Squirek and removing Matt Millen, with specific instructions to go man to man on Joe Washington. A big outside pass rush by defensive end Lyle Alzado forced quarterback Joe Theismann to put an extra loft on his soft lob pass toward Joe Washington over the out stretched hands of the oncoming Alzado, The rest is history interception," Touch Down Raiders! The opponent never recovered? It was over in the first half. The end results the Raiders crowned as Champions of the world. Sometimes recalling something in your past can put you in victory.  There is nothing in this world that is superior to Gods word and purpose, has the Holy Spirit been tugging at you to avoid defeat, is He trying to bring some past experience to your attention that's developed within to form a personality of confusion in constant defeat?  Have you formed a behavior or mindset pattern that has kept you from victory! Allow yourself to open up your heart, allow God to take those walls down, don't let the enemy prowl around like a roaring lion, turn it around get your game on! Only in "Jesus! Name, can you go bump and run against Satan and his teammates- 2Cor10: 17 BUT HE WHO BOASTS IS TO BOAST IN THE LORD.  It's supernatural warfare!  Joshua and the men of war taking the land of Canaan according to God's will! Symbolizes the spiritual warfare of today's Christian against a hostile world, the preparation laid out by Al Davis and the organization for the team during the 1983-84 Super Bowl sure resembled the accounts of the fall of Jericho, the end results Al Davis and head coach Tom Flores receive the Vince Lombardi Trophy...
